Devstackkit ("we," "us," or "this site") operates https://www.devstackkit.com, a free collection of 35+ browser-based developer tools (JSON parser, byte parser, GUID generator, AES/RSA encryption, hashing, and related utilities). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and your choices.

Data processed by the tools themselves

Devstackkit's tools (JSON parsing, byte parsing, text/JSON comparison, GUID generation, base conversion, XML formatting, encoding/decoding, and any "saved entries" features) run entirely in your browser. Whatever you paste or type into a tool is processed locally on your device using JavaScript and is never transmitted to our servers — we have no backend that receives or stores it. If a tool offers a "save" feature, that data is written only to your browser's local storage on your own device; it is not sent to us and is not visible to anyone else. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will remove it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and any third-party services we use (see below) may automatically log standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited — for security, performance, and analytics purposes. We don't require account registration and don't collect names, email addresses, or other personal information through the tools themselves.

Cookies and similar technologies

Devstackkit itself does not set tracking cookies. However, third-party services embedded on this site — analytics and advertising (see below) — may set cookies or use similar technologies (such as device identifiers) in your browser. These are controlled by the third party, not by us.

Analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics (built on Google Analytics) to understand overall site usage — which tools are visited and how often — so we can improve them. On every page you visit, we log the page path, page URL, and page title as an anonymous event; this is not linked to your name, email, or any account, since Devstackkit has no accounts or login. Firebase/Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visitors across sessions. Data processed by our tools themselves (what you paste or type into a converter, parser, or generator) is never included in these analytics events. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners.
